Hot Springs Part 2..

The view I had most of our Hot Springs trip....from MY camera! Yes, 'magically' Andrew was able to bring back all of our pictures and missing stuff when the computer crashed!! I am beyond excited. So, here is Hot Springs part 2..from our camera. :)
Kallie the dog. And Hayden loved this dog. He kept telling everyone he got a new dog. HA!!!
Steve, Andrew and the kids taking a nice canoe ride.
Lili felt the need to follow them.
'Oh, the camera flash is too much.'

                                              Geez....sassy britches!
Olivia doing what she loves most. Jumping of the dock.

Kids doing what they did best down there. Playing in the water.

Olivia saw Steve sweeping the dock once....she then wanted to sweep the dock every chance she got!

Boy, did these kids just love the water.
Hayden loves to play 'hide and seek'. He was playing with BeBe this night. He told her to close her and eyes and start counting. He then proceeded to push himself behind this chair.....that BeBe was sitting in. He is not a master of hiding yet. Ha!
More pictures from the Discovery Place. Hayden made the egg carton thing above. He got to put it in this tube and watch it float. Kids really enjoyed it.
                                             So much concentration!

                                              Apparent, hurricane type winds.
                                              Dinosaur dig.

Hayden looks like he is in awe.
                                                          We're going fast.
The only time she fell asleep. And this is how she does it.

Hayden asleep again on the boat. But this time...standing up!!
First boat ride....and of course Hayden fell asleep.

Waiting for BeBe to start water skiing.
Kids loved to watch BeBe water ski and daddy wake board!! They were very good.

And that is it for Hot Springs. I am so very happy to have all my pictures!!! :)

Relaxing weekend.....

We had a very calm and relaxing weekend. I did a few pinterest recipes that turned out fantastic!!! I have more recipes planned for the rest of the week. I hope they all turn out just as well.
Here is my blueberry breakfast crumble! Holy moly is this thing delicious! I used fresh blueberries and it is all homemade. I am pretty excited about making this some more. I also made crock pot salsa chicken (shredded) over brown rice. I did not take a picture of that because it looked like vomit. No seriously. Olivia (my good eater) walked up to her bowl and looked at it and said 'Eww....that's yuck!' Haha. I told her she just needed to try it and her AND Hayden ate their entire bowls. It was SO good!
Crock pot pizza!!! This was a huge hit and SO good as well. I like when I try new recipes and they turn out well. I have had some major epic fails with new recipes before. But I am on a roll right now. I also made Andrew breakfast egg muffins for him to take to work. They are easy and different and really easy for him to pop in microwave and head out the door with.
THIS is what we are doing today (Sunday)....a whole lot of Rhea Lana's listing. 150 items to be exact. Yippee! I was tempted to just skip this RL but Olivia is in a need for a fall/winter wardrobe. So, I sell their old stuff and buy her new stuff. This is the first time that I can remember that I don't HAVE to buy for both kids. I don't think I could fit another hanger in Hayden's closet. Ha! But luckily with RL I can (hopefully) break even or possibly come out ahead. Yay for consignments!

Kids love to wear their goggles in the bathtub. Olivia usually doesn't but decided to participate today. Hayden wears them everytime and is always going under water. He puts his toy shark in the tub and pretends to be a 'scuba diver caught off guard by a shark in the sea!'. Its quite funny to watch. He has such a great imagination.
While I was getting dinner ready...this is what the kids were doing. So nice. Olivia watching Care Bears and Hayden playing Curious George on the computer.
She said her baby needed a pillow and blanket just like her.
Hayden really picked up the computer quite quickly. He can find his own games and change from Curious George to Dinosaur Train or Martha Speaks. Its fun to watch him play and learn.
Hayden always takes my phone to take pictures. He especially loves to take pictures of his toys or Olivia. He is pretty good with the camera actually. :)

On Saturday night after Andrew got home from work we did popcorn and a movie. Since Hayden cleared his bowl of food he got to pick the movie this week. He picked Puss and Boots which he calls 'Cat Boots'. We thought we had some popcorn but I was mistaken. There was none. So, we found a kettle corn recipe online and made our own kettle corn. Here Olivia is watching the kernels explode! She thought it was funny.

**We burnt our first batch of kettle corn--OOPS--but our second batch turned out perfect and our house smelled of kettle corn.

That was our oh so fun weekend. It really was relaxing and I think its just what we needed. Now....I had best start on this huge pile of stuff for RL. :/

Crystal Bridges

We have visited Crystal Bridges Museum quite a few times. We really enjoy going up there (its free!) and they have new exhibits every time we go. This time was extra fun because YaYa joined us for the trip. It was her first time there and while my kids do not sit still long enough to fully enjoy the art she still enjoyed it.

This museum is just so neat! And luckily, even when Olivia feels the need to STOMP through the very quiet areas people don't seem to mind. Or when both kids are NOT using their quiet voices asking 'What's that?!' people still smile politely or even laugh and say 'how cute.' I, however, do not find it 'cute' whatsoever. Ha.

They spend most of their time in this hallway looking out into the water. Forget about art history! I see catfish!

I like to try and take some cute pictures of the kids when we go...they do not feel the same way about getting their pictures done. I get looks like the one above......
                                                                 Or this......
Olivia is seriously the worst when it comes to requesting pictures. She will look down. Or not smile. Pout. Make faces. Anything but smile for the camera!
                                                        Olivia being very silly!
Hayden had a good time at the 'Play' area. He did puppet shows for us. Here he was a horse. Mind you, he does not speak. He just sticks the puppet out and moves it around. Ha!!
Olivia watching the very creative puppet show by Hayden.

Here we are right before going in. You see what I mean by not wanting their pictures done. They were ready to go in and apparently unhappy about the first stop being for a picture.
I LOVE this kid!!! He is the most special 4 year old I know. And in 4 years this is the best smile picture I have ever gotten from him. And he looks so old here! Tear.
And here is the cutest 2 year EVER! And on FB you get a lot of girls doing the so called 'duck face' for the camera. WELL, only a properly trained 2 year old can really pull off the 'duck face'. :)
